The Global Settings in Brand Boards allow users to store and manage custom colors and fonts, which can be reused across various site builders. Not only does this save time, but it also ensures that all your sites are cohesive, giving clients a better perception of the business. Follow along as we delve into the key components of this section.

Accessing the Global Settings

Start by opening the Brand Boards section of your Marketing tab and then clicking the Global Settings button.

You will see two tabs - Custom Fonts and Custom Colors. This guide will only cover the Custom Colors section, as the Custom Fonts section is not yet available.

Adding a Custom Color

Click the Add button to choose a color from the color picker or input its hex code in the available field. You can also import existing colors from custom values by selecting the Import button.

Choosing the Display

Use the icons on the right to display added colors in tiles or in a list.

Custom Color Actions

In either view, you will see three icons associated with the color. Use them to copy, edit, or delete it, respectively. Note that colors sync everywhere they’re used, so editing them would also update existing designs.

⚠️Caution: Deleting a color will remove it from all pickers. Any designs that previously used this color may automatically update to reflect its removal, depending on how the builder manages color swatches.

With these functionalities down, you can have an effective and professional marketing strategy locked. Keep your emails, funnels, and forms synced and ready for your leads.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How is this different from Design Kit colors?

  • Design Kit colors provide quick, local access for use within a specific project and do not sync automatically. In contrast, Global Custom Colors are shared across all assets, ensuring consistency and synchronization throughout your designs.
