The Forecast tab inside Opportunities helps you track, predict, and improve your pipeline performance using expected close dates and probability-based forecasting. Effectively, giving you a clear, real-time view of your future revenue without spreadsheets. Let's learn how it works!
Summary View
The Summary view provides you with an overview of your Pipeline's health and performance. You can select specific pipelines from the drop-down menu if needed.

The top metrics will be:
- Max potential revenue: indicates how much value your business would gain if you close on all open opportunities.
- Expected revenue: calculates your prospective income based on the closing probability of an opportunity, depending on its stage.
- Won revenue: displays the income your won opportunities have generated.
- Open opportunities: this showcases all opportunities not marked as closed or lost.

At-Risk is a configurable section that lets you track opportunities that are becoming “lost.” By clicking “Adjust risk settings,” you can modify the risk classification.

The “Fix your forecast data” section provides actionable insights into missing information affecting your forecasting.

Use the “Group by” drop-down menu to change the chart breakdown of your opportunities.

A general breakdown of your opportunities will be displayed at the end, organized by:
- The opportunity's status
- Total opportunities in that stage
- Total value if all open opportunities close
- Expected revenue
- Won revenue
- Total potential revenue, meaning the expected revenue plus the won revenue.

Forecast Timeline
The Forecast Timeline shows how opportunities are distributed over time.

Additionally, you can click Advanced filters to narrow down to specific opportunities.

And there you have it, this helps you move from basic pipeline tracking into real revenue forecasting, helping you identify at-risk deals early and get a more accurate view of what will close and when. This improves data quality and forecasting accuracy and reduces reliance on manual reporting and spreadsheets.
